Come with me through the veil,
and take a look down this glass
to see what many do not, but wish they did.
See these men who find themselves
surrounded in darkness, their life
is deprived of sun and the love
that burns with it; I do not blame
those men for being blind.
But, I just weep for those in pain,
left without gain from the hurt
created by the hole that,
is left behind and in the rearview
of those blind men seeking redemption,
when it just rests in wait, at home.
Don’t weep too much for them; if they’re strong they’ll continue self-actualizing.
